The Oxygen Sensor, located in the exhaust manifold (U.S.A.: DX and LX models, CANADA: LX and EX models) or in the exhaust pipe (U.S.A.: SE
and EX models, CANADA: SE and Ex-R models), detects the oxygen content in the exhaust gas and inputs the ECU. In operation, the ECU receives
the signals from the sensor and varies the duration during which fuel is injected. The oxygen sensor is combined with a heater to stabilize the sensor
output.
