Before opening the hood, carefully pull back the hood hinge covers and remove the screws (1 on each side) as shown.

Remove the cowl cover (7 caps and screws, 6 expansion clips).

3.

Open the hood and remove both wiper arms (2 cap nuts).

4.

Pour a solution of liquid hand soap and water onto the base of the windshield.

Have an assistant blow compressed air towards the windshield from inside the car. Watch for air bubbles to appear along the base of the
windshield on the outside. Direct the air stream at a 90~ angle to the base of the windshield. Start the test at the "A" pillar and slowly work
towards the center of the car. Pause the movement of the air nozzle every few inches to allow for any bubbles to develop. Pay close attention to the
spacer block areas as shown. Mark the areas where you see bubbles appear.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Reseal the windshield base.
