SYMPTOM
The IMA indicator comes on with DTC POA7F (battery module deterioration).
PROBABLE CAUSE
Cold weather causes the IMA system to incorrectly set DTC POA7F.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Update the IMA battery software with the HDS.

Needed during the update, the software for this service bulletin is already installed.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
Update the IMA software with the HDS and HDS software version 2.006.012 or later. Refer to UPDATING A CONTROL UNIT/MODULE WITH
THE HDS in Service Bulletin 01-023, Updating Control Unit/Modules.
