SYMPTOM
The A/T gear position indicator panel squeaks while driving.
PROBABLE CAUSE
The A/T gear position indicator panel lock tabs rub against the panel base.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel, and wrap its retaining taps with wool felt.

DIAGNOSIS
1. Press down on the left and right sides of the A/T gear position indicator panel.
Does the panel squeak?
Yes - Go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.
No - Go to step 2.
2. Drive the vehicle while you listen for a squeak. Do you hear a squeak?
