Transmission Mode Indicator - A/T: Adjustments

GEAR POSITION INDICATOR PANEL ADJUSTMENT 

CAUTION: 

-

All SRS wire harnesses are covered with yellow insulation. Before you disconnect any part of an SRS wire harness, disconnect the airbag
connectors.

Whenever the ignition switch ON (II), or has been turned OFF for less than three minutes, be careful not to bump the SRS unit; the
airbags could accidentally deploy and cause damage or injuries. 

1. With the transmission in N position, check that the index mark on the indicator aligns with the N mark on the A/T gear position indicator panel

when the transmission is in N position.

2. If not aligned, remove the front console.
3. Remove the A/T gear position indicator panel mounting screws, and adjust by moving the panel.

NOTE:  Whenever the A/T gear position indicator panel is removed, check the panel adjustment as described above.
