Drive Belt: Specifications

Deflection between Pulleys (Without A/C)

Used Belt

10.5 - 12.5 mm at 98 N 

Alternator  Belt NOTE: Adjust a new belt to the new belt spec, run the engine

for 5 minutes, then readjust it to the used belt spec.

New Belt

8.0 - 10.0 mm at 98 N 

Belt Tension Measured with Belt Tension Gauge (Without A/C)

Used Belt

290 - 440 N 

New Belt

540 -740 N
