6. Inspect the timing belt for cracks and oil or coolant soaking. Replace the belt if it is oil or coolant soaked. Remove any oil or solvent that gets on

the belt.

7. After inspecting, retorque the crankshaft pulley bolt to 245 Nm (25.0 kgf.m, 181 ft.lbs.).
8. Enter the anti-theft code for the radio, then enter the customer's radio station presets.

Holder Attachment, 50 mm, Offset 07MAB-PY301OA

Socket, 19 mm 07JAA-001020A or a commercially available 19 mm socket

1. Make sure you have the anti-theft code for the radio, then write down the frequencies for the radio's preset buttons.
2. Disconnect the battery negative terminal first, then the positive terminal.
3. Remove the alternator.
4. Remove the alternator bracket.

5. Remove the cylinder head cover.
