SRS Light Stays on After the Ignition Switch Is Turned on (II)

The SRS Indicator Light Stays On After the Ignition Switch is Turned ON (II)

1. Erase the DTC memory.
2. Turn the ignition switch ON (II), and check the SRS indicator light.

Does the SRS indicator light stay on?

YES - Go to step 3.

NO - Intermittent failure, system is OK at this time. Recheck for an intermittent failure.

3. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
4. Check for blown No.2 (10 A) fuse in the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.

Is the fuse OK? 

YES - Go to step 5.

NO - Replace the No.2 (10 A) fuse, and recheck the system.

5. Disconnect the battery negative cable, and wait for three minutes.

6. Disconnect the driver's and front passenger's airbag connectors (A).
