Locate the two flex tubes attached to the underside of the headliner.

Cut two 50-mm-wide pieces of wool felt, each piece the same length as a flex tube.

7.

Apply the wool felt to both flex tubes. Be sure to wrap the wool felt entirely around the exposed surfaces of the flex tubes.

8.

Cut a piece of 25-mm-wide wool felt to the same length as the front edge of the headliner.

9.

Apply the wool felt along the front cardboard underside of the headliner edge. Make sure the wool felt wraps over the top edge of the cardboard as
illustrated.

10.

Cut two pieces of 15-mm-wide wool felt to the same lengths as the rear edges of the headliner.

11.

Apply the wool felt along the rear cardboard underside of the headliner edge. Make sure the wool felt wraps over the top edge of the cardboard as
illustrated.

12.

Reinstall the headliner.

If the vehicle is equipped with a moonroof, do not reinstall the moonroof opening molding, and go to step 14. Otherwise, test-drive the vehicle to
make sure the creaking noise is gone.

Cut four 10 x 100 mm pieces of wool felt.
