If the fastener halves of any of the four glass fasteners checked are not fully engaged, go to step 4.

For glass fasteners in which the teeth are not fully engaged, use a utility knife to cut a 2- to 3-mm clearance between the glass fastener halves.

5.

Cut a 25-mm-wide piece of wool felt to the same length as the front edge of the headliner.

Pull down the front of the headliner, and apply the wool felt to the cardboard side of the headliner along the front edge. Make sure the wool felt
wraps over the top edge of the cardboard.

7.

Cut two 15-mm-wide pieces of wool felt to the same lengths as the rear edge of the headliner.

Pull down the rear of the headliner, and apply the wool felt to the cardboard side of the headliner along the rear edge. Make sure the wool felt
wraps over the top edge of the cardboard.
