Position the new main bracket between the original attachment bosses, align the top of the main bracket to the top of the original attachment
bosses, and mark the holes.*

Put a thin piece of wood or metal, about 12 inches wide and less than 3/5 inch thick, into the seat-back pocket to prevent the drill from puncturing
the seat-back pocket.

While wearing eye protection, use a 6.5 mm (0.257 inch) drill bit to drill two holes where you made the marks in step 3.

6.

Remove the piece of wood or metal from the pocket.
