Open the hood, and look at the front of the A/C condenser to see which type of siren backing plate is installed.

If the old type is installed, go to step 2.

If the new type is installed, no further action is needed.

Working from the opening in front of the condenser, remove the backing plate (two bolts), and set the siren down near the bottom of the
condenser; you don't need to remove the siren or disconnect its connection

Loosely attach the new backing plate with the two bolts you removed in step 2.

4.

Pull the power steering reservoir out of its bracket, and move it away from the bulkhead; this will give you access to tighten the top bolt on the
backing plate.
