Out of warranty: Any repair performed after warranty expiration may be eligible for goodwill consideration by the District Service Manager or your
Zone Office. You must request consideration, and get a decision, before starting work.

DIAGNOSIS

1.

Plug the 3P service connector into the MPCS connector on the back of the driver's under-dash fuse/relay box.

2.

Turn on the ignition switch. Wait five seconds.

If the ignition switch light flashes and the beeper beeps once every three seconds, go to REPAIR PROCEDURE.

If you get any other indication, refer to page 22-127 of the 1998-99 service manual for troubleshooting procedures.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

1.

Remove the mounting screw. Remove the master control panel from the armrest. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
