DIAGNOSIS

While test-driving the vehicle at a steady speed above 35 mph, transfer the weight of the vehicle to the left and the right several times. To do this, move
the steering wheel back and forth from the 11 o'clock position to the 1 o'clock position. A defective wheel bearing will make more noise when weight is
transferred to it.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Refer to the 1998-00 Accord Service Manual and replace both rear hub bearing assemblies and spindle nuts.
