Remove the fours bolts that secure the pump cover to the pump housing, and remove the cover.

Remove the old 0-ring. Coat a new 0-ring with clean power steering fluid, and install the new 0-ring onto the pump cover.

Align the rollers with the holes in the pump cover, and install the cover. Torque the four mounting bolts to 20 N.m (14 lb-ft).

5.

Reinstall the power steering pump, and adjust the belt tension. Refer to section 17 of the appropriate service manual.

6.

Start the engine, turn the steering wheel from lock-to-lock, and check the power steering fluid level. Add fluid if necessary.

7.

Make sure the power steering pump does not leak.
