Removal and Replacement Shock

Front Shock

TOOL REQUIRED

Strut Spring Compressor

REMOVAL 

CAUTION:  The spring of the damper springs are different left and right. Be sure to mark the springs R and L before disassembling the front
dampers.

1. Remove the front wheels.

2. Remove the brake hose mounting bolts from the front damper.
3. Remove the flange bolt.
4. Remove the flange bolt and self-locking nut, then remove the damper fork

5. Remove the front damper by removing the three flange nuts.
