10. After adjusting the tapered roller bearing preload, assemble the transmission and install the transmission housing. Torque to 10 x 1.25 mm: 7 Nm
(35 ft. lbs.) 8 x 1.25 mm: 27 Nm (20 ft. lbs.)
11. Rotate the differential assembly in both directions to seat the tapered roller bearings.
