Wind Noise From Door Mirror
SYMPTOM
A whistling or rushing noise in the area of the door mirror at speeds above 40 mph.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Eliminate the wind noise by sealing the sources. The procedure varies with the type of mirror. Manually-adjusted Mirror
(4-dr.: DX; 3-dr.: VX, DX CX)
1.
Clean the area around the screw hole in the base with rubbing alcohol.
2.
After the alcohol dries, cover the screw hole with the seal listed under PARTS INFORMATION.
3.
Repeat these steps on the right-side mirror if so equipped.
