Tear a sheet of paper into 1-inch strips, then lay the strips across the weatherstrip all the way up the A-pillar.

Close the door on the strips.

Pull out each strip of paper and note which ones come out with little or no resistance (indicating poor sealing).
4.
Pull off the weatherstrip again, and add a second layer of tape to any area where the paper pulled out too easily.
