Reinstall the air cleaner and reconnect all its hoses.

Start the engine and let it warm up to its normal operating temperature; the radiator fan should come on.

Check the idle speed with the headlights, heater blower, radiator fan, and air conditioner OFF.
The idle speed should be:
Civic 1.3 - 650 +/- 50 rpm Civic 1.5 HF - 580 +/- 50 rpm
Accord Manual - 750 +/- 50 rpm Accord Automatic - 700 +/- 50 rpm (in Drive)
Adjust the speed, if necessary, by turning the curb idle screw (Civic) or throttle stop screw (Accord); the throttle stop screw has a large plastic
knob on its end.

On Civics with manual transmission, check the idle controller boosted speed. Turn the headlights ON and the heater blower to III.
The idle speed should be:
650 +/- 50 rpm
Adjust the idle speed, if necessary, by turning the idle control screw.
On Civics with power steering, disconnect the car wire harness leads from the steering pressure switch and short them together as shown (the switch is in
the output line just above the rack, on the driver's side). If the idle speed doesn't increase by 70 rpm, adjust it so it does by turning the idle control screw.
