Adjusting Belt Tension
13.
For final adjustment, proceed as follows:
a. Loosen pivot and adjusting bolts. Do not remove adjustment bolts.
b. Rotate crankshaft counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn to place tension on timing belt.
c. Tighten adjusting bolt, then pivot bolt. Torque bolts to:
32 ft lb (43 Nm).
14.
If crankshaft pulley was bolt loosened during previous steps, torque bolt to:
83 ft. lbs (110 Nm).
