Power Steering Line/Hose: Service and Repair
REPLACEMENT
1. Connect each hose to the corresponding pipe securely until it contacts the stop on the line. Install the clamp or adjustable clamp at the specified
distance from the hose end as shown.
2. Add the power steering fluid to the specified level on the reservoir and check for leaks.
ADJUSTABLE HOSE CLAMP
1. Position the adjustable hose clamps at the points indicated (a) in the drawing above.
2. Slide the hose over the line until it contacts the stop.
CAUTION: Check all clamps for deterioration or deformation; replace with the clamps new ones if necessary.
HOSE CLAMP
1. Position the hose clamps at the points indicated (b) in the drawing above.
2. Slide the hose over the line until it contacts the stop.
