4. Install the three dowel pins (D) and the gasket (E) on the torque converter housing (F).
5. Place the transmission housing (G) on the torque converter housing.
6. Install the housing bolts along with the transmission hanger (H) and connector bracket (I). Tighten the bolts in two or more steps to 44 Nm (4.5
kgf-cm, 33 ft. lbs.) in a crisscross pattern.
7. Measure the clearance between the 80 mm set ring and carrier bearing outer race with a feeler gauge.
8. If the clearance is out of standard, remove the 80 mm set ring, and measure its thickness.
9. Select and install a new set ring, then recheck the clearance and make sure it is within the standard.
