Fuel Pressure Control Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

Fuel Pressure Regulator Shut-off Solenoid Valve

Testing

1. Disconnect the fuel pressure regulator shut-off solenoid valve 2P connector.

2. Connect the PGM-FI main relay 7P connector terminals No. 4 and No. 5 with a jumper wire.

3. Check that battery voltage is available between the fuel pressure regulator shut-off solenoid valve 2P connector terminal No. 2 and body ground.

If battery voltage is available, check the fuel pressure regulator shut-off solenoid valve ground. If the ground is OK, replace the fuel pressure
regulator shut-off solenoid valve.

If there is no voltage, check the wire harness.
