Disconnect No. 1 propeller shaft U-joint then the No. 1 propeller shaft.
6.
Remove hub nut from the propeller shaft using a suitable companion flange holder to prevent the shaft from turning.
7.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque all propeller shaft attaching nuts to 24 ft. lbs.
b. Torque hub nut to 43 ft. lbs., then peen nut over shaft end to lock in position.
