Sunshade Won't Stay Completely Closed (Supersedes 89-005, dated May 5, 1989)
PROBLEM

The sunshade moves rearward while driving.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Install new guide rails with half-round cut-outs that hold the sunshade in the fully closed and fully opened positions.

1.

Remove the headliner and sunroof frame as described in the Body section of the Service Manual.

2.

Replace both guide rails with the new parts listed under PARTS INFORMATION.
