Cruise Control Main Switch Light Out
SYMPTOM
The light in the cruise control main switch won't go on when you push the switch. The rest of the cruise control system works normally.
PROBABLE CAUSE
No contact between the wires on the bulb socket and the printed circuit.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
1.
Gently pry out the dash panel around the cruise control main switch.
2.
Remove the switch from the panel.
3.
With a screwdriver, turn each light bulb socket clockwise until it seats (as much as 1/4 turn).
4.
Reconnect the switch, turn the ignition on, and check the light.
5.
If the light goes on, apply HONDABOND HT (see Parts Information) to the edges of both sockets to keep them in place.
6.
Reinstall the switch and the dash panel and then recheck the light.
