Throttle Body: Description and Operation

Throttle Body Assembly

The Throttle Body, mounted on the intake manifold, is of the single-barrel, down-draft style. Both the main and the auxiliary injectors are mounted in
the Throttle Body. The idle adjusting screw, located on bottom, is used to adjust the idle speed up/down by varying the amount the throttle valve is
open. The canister/purge port is also located on the bottom and is used to purge the EVAP system. For a more thorough discussion of the canister/purge
