Connect the shift rod to the transmission and drive the spring pin with a punch, then install the pin retainer. Be sure that the projection on the pin
retainer is in the hole.

Install the shift extension to the transmission case.

Automatic transmission model only

-

Connect the shift cable to the transmission and install the cable holder.
