Fuel Pressure Regulator: Testing and Inspection

Check for proper fuel pressure, refer to ``Fuel Pressure Test'' procedure.

2.

Disconnect vacuum hose from regulator and check pressure. Pressure should rise to 35---41 psi.

3.

If fuel pressure does not rise as specified, check whether it rises when return hose is connected and lightly pinched.

4.

If pressure still does not rise, replace regulator and retest.
