SYMPTOM

A knock, pop, or squeak comes from the front of the vehicle. The noise occurs when driving over rough roads.

PROBABLE CAUSE

Cracking or tearing of the front, lower control arm bushing (compliance bushing).

CORRECTIVE ACTION

Replace the defective front compliance bushing(s).
