MIL Is On With DTC P0420 or Engine Ping Under Load

SYMPTOM
MIL is on with DTC P0420 (catalyst system efficiency below threshold) or the engine pings under load. DTC P0301 (No. 1 cylinder misfire detected),
P0302 (No. 2 cylinder misfire detected), P0303 (No. 3 cylinder misfire detected), or P0304 (No. 4 cylinder misfire detected), may also be set.
PROBABLE CAUSE
Poor connections at the igniter terminals.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Crimp the wires from the distributor subassembly, and install a new catalytic converter if code P0420 is stored in the PCM/ECM.
