Transmission Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
1. Remove the 6 mm bolt and the countershaft speed sensor from the right side cover.
2. Remove the 6 mm bolt and the mainshaft speed sensor from the transmission housing.
3. Replace the 0-ring with a new one before installing the countershaft speed sensor or the mainshaft speed sensor.
NOTE: Install the mainshaft speed sensor washer on the mainshaft speed sensor. The mainshaft speed sensor washer is used on models with the
D16Y7 engine.
