Air Door Cable: Adjustments

Air Mix Cable

1.

Slide temperature lever to COLD position.

2.

Hold air mix door closed, connect cable end to door lever, Fig. 12, then secure cable housing in clamp.

3.

Operate temperature lever through range of travel while observing door operation through heater vent opening.

4.

Door should open fully with control in HOT position and open fully with lever in COLD position.

1.

Ensure control rods are properly installed, then place control lever in DEF position.

2.

Move mode lever on heater to DEF position, connect cable end to lever and secure cable housing in clamp, Fig. 13.

3.

Move function lever to VENT and ensure linkage operates without binding or sticking.
