Oil Level Inspection

4-Speed Transmission

1. Check with oil at operating temperature, engine OFF, and car on level ground.
2. Remove oil filler bolt and check level with finger.
3. Oil level must be to full hole. If it is below hole, add oil until it runs out, then reinstall bolt.

5-Speed Transmission (2WD)

1. Check with oil at operating temperature, engine OFF, and car on level ground.

2. Remove oil filler bolt and check level with finger.
3. Oil level must be to fill hole. If it is below hole, add oil until it runs out, then reinstall bolt.

5-Speed Transmission (4WD)

1. Check with oil at operating temperature, engine OFF, and car on level ground.
2. Remove oil filler bolt and check level with finger.
3. The oil level must be to the lower edge of the filler hole. Add oil until it runs out, then reinstall the bolt.
