Blower Motor: Service and Repair
Removal and Installation
NOTE: The blower motor, recirculation control motor and blower resistor can be replaced without removing the blower unit.
1. Move the temperature control to "HOT."
'96-98: Slide the temperature control lever.
'99-00: Turn the ignition switch ON (II), then turn the temperature control knob. Turn the ignition switch off.
2. Remove the glove box.
3. Remove the self-tapping screw and the passenger's dashboard lower cover. Remove the bolt, the nut and the knee bolster, then remove the five
bolts and the glove box frame.
Without Air Conditioning

Remove the wire harness from the heater duct, then remove the two self-tapping screws and the heater duct.
