    On fuel injected engines, fast idle speed is controlled by the fast idle valve and no adjustment is provided. Adjust fast idle speed on carbureted engines
using the following procedure.

1.

Run engine until it reaches normal operating temperature and cooling fan cycles, then stop engine.

2.

Connect tachometer, then disconnect and plug inside hose from fast idle unloader.

3.

Hold choke valve closed, then open and close throttle to engage fast idle cam.

4.

Start engine and run for one minute, then check fast idle. Fast idle speed should be as specified. If necessary, adjust by turning fast idle screw,
