Replace intake rocker arms and shaft, camshaft holders, and other parts with those in the cam holder kit listed under PARTS INFORMATION. Use the
procedure given in the appropriate service manual.

NOTE:

Inspect all valve clearance adjustment screws for excessive wear and replace as necessary.

The service manual procedure for setting cam timing is incorrect for engines with multi-point fuel injection. When removing and reinstalling the
camshaft pulley, align it as shown in this bulletin.

On the CRX HF only, discard the rocker arms in the kit and reinstall the originals.

Cam Timing - All Civic engines with dual-point fuel injection (all except CRX HF & Si, 4WD Wagon).

Cam Timing - All Civic engines with multi-point fuel injection (CRX HF & Si, 4WD Wagon).
