Crankshaft Position Sensor: Description and Operation

    This sensor is used on Civic, Civic Wagon with 1.5L engine and standard CRX models. The crank circuit portion of this sensor determines the fuel
and ignition system timing for each cylinder, and also relays engine speed information to the ECU.
    The TDC circuit portion of this sensor determines ignition timing during cranking only, and whenever the crank angle sensor is providing abnormal
signals.
