Fast Idle Valve: Description and Operation

    The Fast Idle Control Solenoid Valve is employed to increase the air flow rate for fast idling at extremely low ambient temperature.  Fast idle
control solenoid valve on is activated by coolant temperature below -10°C (14°F) and engine speed below 1,800 rpm.
