Idle Speed: (A/T in "N" or "P") 750 ± 50 rpm

Idle the engine for one minute with the headlights on high beam, and the rear defogger ON and check the idle speed.
If applicable, with automatic transmission models, idle the engine for one minute in gear ("D") and check idle speed.

Idle Speed: 800 ± 50 rpm

9.

Idle the engine for one minute with the heater switch on high (right end position), and the air conditioner ON, then check the idle speed.

Idle Speed: 800 ± 50 rpm

10. If the idle speed is not within Spec., see "DIAGNOSIS BY SYMPTOM" under "COMPUTERIZED ENGINE CONTROLS".
