Inspect the main wire harness, near the brake switch, for damaged wires and/or insulation.

If any bare wires are showing through any of the insulation, go to step 4.

It the insulation is worn but no bare wire is showing or the insulation is not damaged at all, go to step 5.

Wrap each damaged wire with electrical tape. If needed, disconnect connectors C417, C418, and C419 from the back of the under-dash fuse box
to repair the wires.
5.
Cut a piece of corrugated tubing 70 mm in length.
6.
Install the corrugated tubing over the main wire harness.
7.
Tape the corrugated tubing to the main wire harness to hold the tubing in position. If needed, disconnect connectors C417, C418, and C419 from
the back of the under-dash fuse box.
8.
If connectors C417, C418, and C419 were disconnected in step 4 or step 7, reconnect them to the back of the under-dash fuse box.
10.
Reconnect the negative cable to the battery.
11.
Enter the anti-theft code and the customer's radio station presets.
