9. Pack the joint and the boot with the joint grease included with the new boot. Grease quantity: 80 - 90 g (2.8 - 3.2 oz).
10. Install the joint by holding the driveshaft straight up and aligning the marks on the joint with the marks on the rollers.
11. Adjust the position of the joints to the figure below, then adjust the boots halfway between full compression and full extension. Be sure the ends of
the boots are seated in the grooves in the joints.

Inboard joint length: 153 -157 mm (6.02 - 6.18 inch)

Outboard joint length: 143 -147 mm (5.63 - 5.37 inch)
12. Install new boot bands on the boots, and bend both sets of locking tabs.
13. Lightly tap on the doubled-over portions to reduce their height.
14. Install the new set ring onto the driveshaft groove.

1. Loosen the rear wheel nuts slightly.
