Rear Hatch Glass Leaks Water

SYMPTOM
The rear hatch glass leaks water from the upper corners of the glass.

PROBABLE CAUSE
The rear hatch glass hinge plates pinch the upper corners of the rear glass weatherstrip.

CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the rear glass weatherstrip, if needed, then adjust the tailgate body flange and/or the rear hatch glass.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

Open the rear hatch glass and the tailgate door, and look for a flattening or distortion at the upper corners of the rear weatherstrip.
