Valve Clearance: Adjustments
Adjust the valves only when the cylinder head temperature is less than 100°F (38°C).
1. Remove the cylinder head cover.
2. Remove the middle cover.
3. Set the No. 1 piston at TDC. The "UP" mark on the pulleys should be at the top, and the TDC marks on the pulleys should align with the pointers
on the back cover.
4. Adjust the valves on No. 1 cylinder.
Intake: 0.08 - 0.12 mm (0.003 - 0.005 in)
Exhaust: 0.16 - 0.20 mm (0.006 - 0.008 in)
