Function Control Switch

1.

Remove function control to gain access to switch terminals, Fig. 25.

2.

Connect ohmmeter between switch terminals a and b and operate control in all positions. Approximate resistance values for each control position
are as follows: 

    VENT........................................................................................................................................................................................................................0 ohms
    HI-LO..................................................................................................................................................................................................................1000 ohms
    HEAT..................................................................................................................................................................................................................2000 ohms
    H/DEF.................................................................................................................................................................................................................3000 ohms
    DEF.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................4000 ohms

Connect ohmmeter between switch terminal e and g, and operate recirculation button.

Meter should indicate continuity when button is pressed and no continuity when button is released.

5.

Connect ohmmeter between switch terminal e and f, and operate recirculation button.

Meter should indicate continuity when button is released and no continuity when button is pressed.
