Mode Control Motor

1.

Measure resistance between center terminal and terminal D and of motor connector, Fig. 13. Resistance should be 5000 ohms.

2.

Connect battery positive terminal to motor terminal A and battery negative terminal to motor terminal. Motor should operate. Disconnect battery
as soon as the motor starts, or motor will be damaged.

3.

Reverse polarity to ensure motor operates in both directions.

4.

Connect a 12 volt battery and suitable test bulbs to motor as shown in Fig. 13, and measure resistance between terminals C and D.

5.

The motor is operating normally when resistance measured corresponds with values shown in Fig. 13. Reverse polarity of battery and ensure
resistance values are still within specifications.

6.

If motor fails to operate as outlined, motor is defective.
