2. Install each hub in its mating sleeve and check for freedom of movement.

3RD/4TH Shift Fork to Shift Arm B Clearance

1. Measure the clearance between the 3rd/4th shift fork and shift arm B.

Standard: 0.2-0.5 mm (0.008-0.020 in.)
Service Limit: 0.62 mm (0.0244 in.)

2. If the clearance exceeds the service limit, measure the width of the shift arm B.

Standard: 12.9-13.0 mm (0.508-0.512 in.)

3. Replace the shift arm B if the width is outside the standard value with a new one.
