Install adjuster bolt assembly and upper return spring, Fig. 2.

Lubricate ends of brake shoes and brake shoe contact surfaces on backing plate, taking care not to get grease on brake linings.

Position brake shoes on backing plate, then connect parking brake cable to lever.

18.

Ensure ends of brake shoes are properly engaged in wheel cylinder and lower pivot, then install lower return spring, tension pins and retainer
springs.

19.

Install brake drums and wheels.

20.

Depress and release brake pedal several times to adjust brake shoes, then adjust parking brake and bleed brakes as needed.
