To be sure the seal makes continuous contact with the Cemedine, push it down firmly into the header trough with a blunt tool. Push down with a
repeated rolling motion, to "walk' the tool across the seal from each end toward the middle.

Remove excess Cemedine from the body with HondaBrite Cleaner; it will not dull the finish.

12.

Repeat the entire Water Leak Test.

B2 - Glass Weatherstrip Replacement

B2 - GLASS RUN (WEATHERSTRIP) REPLACEMENT

1.

With the door window all the way down, remove the screw from the top of the quarter window. Then pull the rear half of the quarter window seal
(the glass run) up and out of the run channel. and peel the front half out of the front of the quarter window frame.

2.

Lube the upper part of the channel in the front of the quarter window frame with soapy water. Then install the front portion of the new seal by
sliding it down into the soapy channel.

3.

Install the glass run portion of the seal working from the top of the glass down. If you can't get the run all the way down into the channel, lube the
channel with soapy water; do not use silicone or grease.

4.

Remove the door speaker and its housing. Then reach through the hole in the door panel, and pull the end of the glass run all the way down into
position. Push the excess glass run forward under the end of the channel and up past the end of the weatherstrip clip, as shown, to keep it in place.

5.

Reinstall the screw in the top of the quarter window.

6.

Go to Al on page 5, and follow steps 6 thru 11 to check weatherstrip fit and to seal the top corner of the quarter window.

C1 - Quarter Window Resealing

Quarter Window to Frame

If the quarter window (glass and attached molding) is loose in its frame, shim it with EPT Sealer:

1.

With the door window all the way down, remove the screw from the top of the quarter glass frame. Then pull the rear half of the quarter window
seal (the glass run) up and out of the run channel, and peel the front half out of the front of the quarter window frame.

2.

Remove the door panel, pull back the protective plastic (use a utility knife to slice through the adhesive), and remove the three bolts from the front
run channel.

3.

Remove the remaining screw from the top of the quarter window frame, then carefully twist the run channel to one side as necessary to remove the
quarter glass.

4.

Stick pieces of 10 mm-thick EPT Sealer (foam tape. P/N 06992-SA5-000) to the bottom of the three tabs on the window molding to raise the glass
in its frame.
